Eco-Friendly Packaging
We're setting a new standard for skincare products.
At Pure & Green we have the environment in mind when creating our certified organic products. The following initiatives were implemented to minimise any environmental impact from our packaging.
The 'airless' bottle that reduces waste

These attractive bottles feature a unique 'airless pump' design with some distinct benefits:
- As you pump, the base rises, preventing cream from being exposed to air. This keeps the certified organic contents fresh, retaining their skin-beautifying properties.
- When finished, barely any cream gets left inside. There's less waste and no need to wriggle your little finger in there trying to rescue the cream other bottles leave behind.
Recycled Paper
All of our brochures and the cardboard in our packaging is made from 100% recycled paper.
Another World-First for Pure & Green Organics
We are the first cosmetic company in the world to use 100% post-consumer-recycled cardboard caps for product bottles.
Bottles made from plants!
Our NatureWorks™ BIOpack bottles are made from renewable plant sugar resources (PLA – short for Polylactic Acid), not the usual petrochemical plastics. PLA is compostable and biodegradable in industrial composting conditions, but it will not degrade or disintegrate on shelves. In order to degrade, PLA must be exposed to temperatures greater than 60°C (140°F) and relative humidity greater than 90% for approximately 60 to 80 days. A lot less energy is used to produce them so they are a more sustainable option (see box). Empty bottles are best disposed of with general household waste, or placed in an industrial compost bin.
The PLA resin is imported and then custom manufactured for us into bottles in a carbon-neutral facility in Northern NSW.
A Sustainable Sensible Selection
Do you really need 18 different products for your face? Responsible consumers are realising that 3 or 4 high quality certified organic products are all it takes to properly keep all skin types clean, nourished, protected and looking beautiful.
Our focus is on providing you with superior results that are sustainable, not just fishing for profits with a bloated product range. A sensible number of products means less packaging and less environmental impact without compromising effectiveness.
"Plant resins require 33% less fossil fuel resources and emit 42% less greenhouse gases than bottles made from PET (petrochemical plastic)."
